Best reviews for Kohler bidet toilet seats
Read on for my in-depth reviews of what I consider to be the best Kohler bidet seats. I looked at options for every budget and picked the ones that offer the best value for money.
Most Kohler seats are suitable for oblong toilets - but some, such asNovita BH90-N0, has the option of a round toilet. I'm looking at another articlebest bidet seats for round toilets.
All are easy to install and you can do so without having to call a plumber.
The following reviews refer to power seats. If you want a manual option, I've talked about thatKohler Puretide, along with some other manual options, in minReview of non-electric bidets.
NOVITA BH90-N0 Bidetsæde
Novita is a sub-brand of Kohler's bidet toilet seats but offers the same high quality design. There are a few different bidet seats in the range but I've decided to highlight the BH90-N0 because it has oneautomatic opening and closing of the lidwhich none of the other options have.
The lid detects when you're nearby and opens and closes again when you walk away. In combination with the hot air dryer, this creates a completely hands-free experience.
The hybrid heating system provides instant and unlimited hot water, the temperature and pressure of which you can adjust. There are two self-cleaning stainless steel nozzles with oscillating, turbo and air bubble spray modes for side and front tooth cleaning.
The water is sterilized using silver nano technology, so you and the wand are guaranteed to stay clean. The dehumidifier then takes care of the rest of the bathroom.
The seat heater has an energy saving mode that lowers the seat temperature after a long period of non-use. The seat also has an infrared sensor that detects when someone is sitting on the toilet, and only then are the functions active.
To operate the BH90-NO, use a touchscreen LCD remote control. There is a dedicated button that runs a series of presets suitable for children or older adults who may find all the options confusing. I found this to be very helpful for guests as well.
Advantage
- Automatic opening and closing of the lid
- energy saving function
- Sitzsensor
- Touchscreen controls
- kid-friendly mode
Disadvantages
- No personal user setting
- not skinny
KOHLER K-8298-0 C3 155
This is one of the best Kholer bidet seats in terms of value for money.
The heated seat has five temperature settings and you can adjust the speed and temperature of the hot air dryer, as well as the water temperature and pressure. It's worth noting that the heated seats turn off when there's no light - a feature that helps save energy but can be annoying if you frequently go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
If you're visiting at night, there's a night light that illuminates the toilet bowl and saves you having to turn on the bathroom lights. However, there is only one setting here. If it's too bright for you, as some users have reported, there's no way to dim it.
The single spray wand has two modes for front and back cleaning, plus you can choose between a pulsating or oscillating jet. These modes are useful when you need extra cleaning power.
With this bidet toilet seat, the seat is not only flushed with water to clean the rod, but also disinfected with UV light. After use, the stainless steel wand automatically emits UV light that kills any lurking bacteria. Pretty smart!
Another feature that helps keep the seat clean is the automatic air eliminator with carbon filter, which prevents unpleasant odors from lurking in your bathroom.
You can control all of this via the side panel attached to the seat. The large image buttons are designed to be easy to use.
If you prefer wireless controls, thenC3 455is identical to this model except that it has a remote control that allows you to save two user presets.
Advantage
- good value for money
- 5 water temperature settings instead of 3
- Large clear buttons on the side panel
Disadvantages
- no infrared seat sensor
KOHLER K-4108-0 C3 230 Bidet-Toilettensitz

This is Kohler's finest luxury bidet toilet seat and comes with a host of exciting features.
What sets it apart from the other seats are the touchscreen controls. The remote control lets you save up to two different user presets, so you don't have to constantly adjust things like the position of the nozzle every time you use the toilet.
In addition to the wireless control, there is also a side-mounted control panel. Perfect for when you notice someone has moved the remote control.
The seat uses a hybrid method of heating the water, providing an unlimited supply of water. You can change the water, seat and dryer temperature settings until they're perfect for you, and adjust the air and water pressure.
The heated seat is made from an antimicrobial agent that resists stains from bacteria, mold and mildew. Both the front and rear bars are made of stainless steel and are cleaned by UV light disinfection. And there is an air separator to prevent odors from entering your bathroom.
The UV light also works as a night light, which is useful if you frequently go to the bathroom in the dark. However, the lights can be quite powerful. If you have an ensuite bathroom that you can see into the bathroom from the bed, you may need to keep the door closed as the toilet can automatically clean itself at night.
If you don't like the idea of having two different types of controls,Modell C3 200has all the same features but lacks the attached side panel. This model also has the added benefits of a seat sensor, power saving mode and a slimmer design.
Advantage
- Touch screen remote and side controls
- antimicrobial materials
- personal preferences
Disadvantages
- not as slim as other models
- no power saving mode
KOHLER K-27142-CR-0 C3-430
This is one of the more affordable Kohler bidets you can buy that also comes with a remote control. Wireless bidet toilet seats tend to be quite a bit more expensive than the side panel options. So this is a bargain if you're looking for a remote control bidet but don't have a budget limit.
The controls allow you to set up two different user settings, so frequent users don't have to change things like their preferred water pressure settings every time.
The wand is made of stainless steel and uses UV light for self-disinfection. It is adjustable so it can be used for front and back washing and you can choose the water temperature and water pressure. The hot water is heated in a hybrid storage tank, i.e. continuously and immediately.
It features a heated seat with LED light that illuminates the bowl in the dark. However, you will have to do without the dryer and dry yourself with toilet paper instead.
Advantage
- an affordable model with wireless control
- slim
- personal preferences
Disadvantages
- no dryer or deodorant
NOVITA Bn330-N0 Bidet-Toilettensitz
The Kholer bidet offers excellent value for money. It's pretty similarToto C100 oder Toto C200if you are familiar with them.
Part of the Novita range, it features signature silver nano technology water sterilization that cleans both you and the wands. The dehumidifier is chemical-free and uses a carbon filter to trap odors.
There are plenty of customization options, with three temperature settings for the heated seat and heated air dryer. Note that the dryer on this model is not the most powerful, so it will take some time to dry completely. The hot water is heated in real time by hybrid heating so that it never runs out. Useful if you live in a place where the tap water is particularly cold.
You can also adjust the jet positions and play with the water temperature and pressure. As with the other Novita toilets, there are three different jet types.
The seat has a side mounted control panel that is quite small compared to some other control panels I've seen. This can be useful if you have a smaller bathroom or simply prefer a more elegant look. However, this can make the toilet more difficult to operate because the buttons are closer together.
A cool feature of this bidet toilet seat is the infrared seat sensor that is used to activate the functions when someone sits on the toilet. Using infrared instead of weight makes the seat more child-friendly, as children are sometimes too light for other seats to detect.
Advantage
- good value for money
- slim
- save energy
- Sitzsensor
- seat cover
Disadvantages
- Flowers communication panel
KOHLER K-18751-0 C3 050 Bidet
This is one of the cheapest electric bidets that Kohler offers, so the best bidet seat for you on a tight budget.
The bidet seat has a hot water spray with adjustable pressure and temperature settings. The water is heated with a hybrid heater that ensures a continuous flow of hot water that never runs out.
Like all Kohler bidets, this one features a quiet, secure fit and lid, and quick-release hinges. The seat has a low-profile design and is one of Kohler's slimmest bidets, measuring just 4.75 inches at its tallest point.
The C3 050 is a basic model that lacks some of the exciting features of the more expensive bidet toilet seats, but still does a great job of cleaning. However, if you can afford to spend a few bucks more, I think it's worth it in this case. The mid-range variants have a lot more to offer and offer excellent value for money.
Advantage
- budget friendly
- slim
- constant hot water
Disadvantages
- Many functions are missing, such as heated seats
Remote controls vs. side panels
Bidet toilet seats are a significant investment and should be considered. The biggest question to ask yourself is…
Do I want a remote control or a connected side panel?
The wireless options are more expensive, but I often hear people say that, in hindsight, they wish they had gone for it.
Using the side panels isn't difficult, especially after a few months, once you've memorized where the buttons are. But sometimes you have to turn around to reach them. This can be annoying at best and impossible at worst if you have or have mobility issuesbariatricUser.
The disadvantage of remote controls is that they can be moved and dropped. As they are battery operated there is an additional cost of buying batteries and there is a risk of running out mid session!
Why buy a Kohler bidet toilet seat?
